Logline
A retired Austrian pottery artist founds a pottery school in Uganda, which not only gains recognition in the art world, but also becomes one of the few chances in the country for young Ugandans to build up a future and express themselves.
Short Synopsis
The little pottery on the missionary station in Mokono is a hidden gem for the world,
but well-known in Uganda. When she retired the dedicated pottery artist Carola from
Austria brought the pottery to life. It is a place of hope for many young Ugandans as it
is one of the few vocational trainings in the country. And it has become a huge success,
not only has the pottery gained a name in the art world, it has encouraged young
Ugandans to express themselves.
